Hello everyone, and thanks for looking.
Ive recently bought Splinter Cell for my laptop, and in 1024 by 800 mode its a bit slow when playing, when i play it in 640 by 480 its a lot faster but the quality is rubbish. I think its because i have 64MB VRAM, The graphics is integrated and i have 512MB RAM altogether. (Which i can upgrade anyway)
When i press the windows key in the game and go to the desktop i still have loads of free RAM left which isnt being used. So i think that its using all the 64MB VRAM and is struggling. Where i could easily do without some sytem RAM.
Here's my laptops spec:
AMD Sempron 2600+ @ 1.6GHz (64bit)
512MB RAM (PC2700)
VIA S3G Unichrome IGP (64MB from the 512MB) (System actually 448MB)
Is there anything i can do to improve the performance of the game?
Run software which gives it extra RAM from system?
Change my graphics settings to 16bit?
What can i do?
Thanks, Antony...
