Really nice Heat sink for cheap, want to over clock 9800 so i want my computer running collllld
at least above 600w power supply, found a 650w supply for 20 bucks on craigslist (http://images.craigslist.org/1f41271...fb19121387.jpg)
some kind of cooling system, or sum neat cooling trick for my gpu to stay as cool as i can get it (NOT TOO MUCH, CHEAAAAAP)
I just want good cooling and graphics. please help me decide! still have more to come up with. all i got so far.

Theres some problems man:
1) That motherboard is Intel, your current set-up is AMD, you need to get a new CPU to match or a different mobo.
2) if you get that mobo, it only supports upto Pentium 4 (according to that site), which means if you get a 9800GTX it will seriously bottleneck! - not worth it!
3) i cant see the PSU link, but i know a 20$ psu is going to be S*^t, and a 9800GTX deserves/needs better.

I would honestly re-think all of this, if you want a good GPU, you have to correspond by getting a better CPU and RAM. A better CPU needs a better mobo.

I cant give you any links, because i have no idea where you from:confused:

Could you give a budget?

***EDIT: Your Motherboard?, which has a PCI-E slot so buy something like a 9600GSO?

As for the cooling i dont know what size fans your case takes... ***

amd setup? can you explain what you mean what i want is a amd setup? i dont understand because the 9800gtx is pci-ex16 slot. isnt that intel? im not sure if im right or not, but thats what i thought. im getting a new case and im not sure of the size. i can try and ask the guy and figure it out. as for getting a whole new motherboard, would i need it if i could just use the one i have now?(to work with the 9800gtx) and im curious if there is sum way to make your own cooling system, maybe water cooled, for your computer. and i want to do the cheapest way, such as buy my own supplies if any of you know a tut, let me know.

Making your own water cooling system, im not even gonna go there. Watercooling is rarely necessarily, and i think air cooling will be just find, trust me on this!

AMD and Intel are two DIFFERENT companies, they both produce CPU'S/Processors which require different motherboard!

Intel Wiki
AMD Wiki

You can get more info about them from those links. :) The 9800GTX can be used with EITHER AMD or INTEL Motherboards, as long as it has PCI-E.

Your current motherboard will support the 9800GTX as it has a PCI-E slot, so yes you can buy the 9800GTX, but im not sure whether it will bottleneck, i dont know too much about it my self but read this

What PSU do you have atm and how do you want to spend?

Ah i see, i only have shitty 300W psu that i know wont run it. i need 450W req for the card. but i have already found a 750W from power and cooling thats 80+ for $65 after rebate

What are you trying to do on that computer? Light gamer hard core gamer Web surfer?
and FYI i have a 8500 GT on 250W PSU and it works fine thank you :P lol I only play a couple games tho :)

Here, i wouldn't get a 750watt PSU, that is major overkill, you should get a nice quality psu, remember its all about how many amps that the psu puts out, that 750watts won't do much good, if its only putting out 16amps per rail.
You could run that card on a quality 400watt psu, so this one will be a little more.
