Here's a list of the parts I was planning on getting. What do you guys think?

I'm not really sure I can afford much more, but if something on my list really SUCKS and the only thing that's better is more expensive, I'll see what I can work out, thanks.

So like I said, can you review these and if you see anything that's not very good, please make a suggestion.

Also, does anyone know anyway I could reduce the price? All in all, my shopping cart comes out to $412.08, and that's A LOT IMO, so if anyone knows any cupon codes, cheaper products that work as well, anything to make it cheaper, that'd be great.

Rosewill is a rather cheapo brand on many things. Logitech and Microsoft are the usual leaders for mice and keyboards. For 120mm blue led case fans try the Antec brand. Those run quiet. For cd-rs TDK! has 50 and 100 count packs that have been quite reliable here. For a tv tuner/personal video recorder the ATI model seen here is Vista ready compared to the others. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16815294004

Thanks, I'll check all those out.

Also, even though I don't expect to upgrade to Vista, it couldn't hurt to be supported. I was wanting to plug my video game systems/video camera into my PC so I could record gameplay/recorded videos on it, so if you could find one that has the right connections for it, that'd be great.

EDIT: Nevermind, after looking at it a bit more, it looks perfect, it's got an adapter.

As for the Keyboard/mouse, it's got good reviews and it's cheap, it would never even leave like 5 feet of the transmitter, so it should be fine.

That's why I could point that one out. I wondered myself since I currently have a tv tuner/video capture card without software support for Vista. An updated driver came out but not the patch to update the software! The ATI also was better quality then the Leadtek and other models seen for that price range.

I'm not too fond of the Antec 120mm case fan if you mounting that on a side cover. But newegg seems to want a higher price for the one I bought a pair of last spring for under $10 each seen at http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16835209011

They also carry the clear, red, and tri-color styles of that model. With the Zalman 9500 installed here the only fan heard running is the 140mm front intake. If you are serious about a wireless keyboard + mouse combination you may want a look at something better the Rosewill however. A good make will see a higher price there.

The slider bar magnifier is one extra seen on an MS model at http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16823109133

Logitech also carries some good models like the one seen at http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16823126175
