i5-2500k vs i5-2380p

Ok, so I was set on getting the intel i5-2500k for the past few days now and i was checking benchmarks and noticed that the i5-2380p wasn't rated much lower than 2500k. The only big difference I noticed was no integrated graphics in the 2380p. Since I have a radeon 6850 already purchased, should I go with the 238op or stick with the 2500k?

If you have a better option than the two of them please let me know. I do plan on sticking with intel and lga-1155 mobo, unless you can provide better feedback. Im a noob thats trying to train himself. haha

I would suggest the i5 3570K and the Z77 mobo, it is recently released and has advantages over 2500K, I think the benchmarks were performed at stocked speed so 2380p was close to 2500K, the 3570K is faster than both of them, if you are going to overclock then only get a K series CPU else 3550/3450 will be better.

3000 series would be better, the reason the 2500k is more expensive is because it's unlocked, meaning it is made to overclock.
