i5 750 + 9800gt

Right now im using
amd x2 4400+
xfx 9800gt

Im gettin 20~50fps in tf2, playing at lowest settings (800x600).

my plan is to keep my gpu, but upgrade my cpu to i5 750 as listed in the topic.

would my fps improve by a significant amount ? and also should i buy a new ram ? ( if this helps to run the game smoothly, i currentlyu have 2gb oz)

Yes, it should help. You are aware you will need a new motherboard too though? Everything else will work fine with it though

No way! There would be a huge improvement and that GPU is fine for a little while longer.
