I7 2600k stock speeds needing 1.3v?

Hi guys. I have been having problems with BSoD; after trying endless solutions the only one that worked was increasing the vcore of cpu to 1.3v in bios. I have flashed the bios using all methods available and about 3 different versions.

Seeing that the default values for vcore don't work this is slightly worrying and will surely make it harder to OC.

The problems started when I switched off OC genie from my mobo(msi p67a-gd65) due to it causing bsod after about 30mins of use. When I switched it off and reverted back to default settings the bsod started happening before windows had even logged in.

Any solutions or suggestions as to what the problem might be would be appreciated, thanks!

My specs are:
CPU: Core i7 2600k
PSU: Corsair HX750W
RAM: G.Skill 1600MHz 4Gb x2
Case: CM HAF 922
Mobo: MSI P67A-GD65
CPU Cooler: CM 212+
GPU: GTX460 1Gb

Did you leave EIST and C-state etc enabled? Did you disable spread spectrum?

I'm not familiar with MSI's P67 boards so I can't really take a good stab at whats going on other than all normal stuff that all boards have in common.

Also, what are your temperatures like with the CPU at idle/load?
