I don't know how you didn't score higher than me... Your resolution is probably smaller than mine...maybe it's the ram. If I were you I would definitely OC, I just don't have a aftermarket cooler.

i dont know how to oc and i read guides and dont understand, made a thread if anyone could help me but no one reply'd xD

and i wouldn't like to mess with a cpu if i wouldn't know what i'm doing :p

and my cpu temp is : idle 31~29 cod mw2: 45~52 and thats with only 3 case fans and a tru black 120 cpu cooler ._. trying to find a guide to overclock to: 3~3.5ghz xD

No CPU has ever got above 4fps in 3dmark06. mine gets 0/1/2 fps. :o

My I7 860 would hit 5 FPS in the second test no problem. CPU score is 6600 at only 4ghz, I've had it clocked to 4.4ghz with HT on  and 4.8ghz with HT off but never ran 3dmark06 with it. I'm sure it would have cracked 7k and possibly even hit 6FPS.

Wow, I just did the 3DMark06 test with my system and my score was only 4772. I know my video card is really what is holding the score back, but it runs my Flight Simulator X well enough for me presently.

Processor: AMD Phenom II 940
Graphics Processing Unit: ATI Radeon 3600 Series
Memory: 2048 megabytes of DDR2 800

Get another 2gb of ram, and change your username to 4096Megabytes :P

If I do get more memory it will only be 1 gigabyte more. I don't see the point in getting 2 more gigabytes of RAM when my 32-bit operating system will only utilize about 1.25 gigabytes of it.
