Ibm Thinkpad 380 Xd

Hello there. I was woundering if anyone could help me here. So I got a OLD Ibm thinkpad 380XD. I want to update it. I was woundering if there is a motherboard that would fit this small machine? Also so I can update the RAM memory and the Harddrive.

I would like to use this computer for internet use (not for gamming) well maybe some.

right now I got only 3gb of hard disk drive
cd Rom
64mb of DIMM ram

my main question though is can I put in a new motherboard? am I wasting my time with this pc?

1. Not suggest you to change the Harddrive as your windows propably on it. If you really run out of space, just get an external one.
2. Not sure how much of RAM is your MB support, don't know if you can upgrade your RAM.
3. It is hard change MB on laptop.
4. It seems to me an old machine, I agree you are wasting your time and money to upgrade it.
