iBook connect to our 2Wire internet connection

My sister just bought a new iBook a few months ago, but she hasn't been able to connect to her 2Wire network... whenever my friend comes over with his laptop (PC) he just enters a number on our 2Wire Portal to connect....

i have no clue how to do this with a Mac... can u step me through this please?
