Icons and account name changed after restart.

I was viewing a blog then my mac book with xp installed hang and i force to shut it down. When i restart it i found that the most of the icons on my computer disappeared only left with some such as My Computer. The account name had also changed to Admin and the data that i stored in my document also disappeared but i found it under temp under document and settings.
I tried to restore the things back to the desktop and my document but once i restart it will be gone again.
Anyone can help?

under XP create a new account and put your docs there.
I've posted this myself like a year ago, and a few members did a while back.
I don't think there's a solution yet.
I've been through it. The account you are logging into won't work at all and you will lose all data if you continue logging under it.

Thanks man. by the way is it a bug or is it a virus?
