Icons Dont Load

Alright, so when I was on my computer today, a lot of my icons (mostly folder icons) wouldnt load at all. They show up with the white box and little shapes all over them. I try to right click, properties and change icon back to a folder but this does not work at all. Ive tried restarting my computer as well. What else could be going on here, how can I fix this?

Post a Hijackthis Log

• Download Hijackthis from here
• Open Hijackthis
• Click on "Do a system Scan Only"
• Click on "save log"
• A notepad window will open
• Hit Ctrl + A
• Copy + paste in a forum reply

Then we can go from there.

Maybe the icon cache is corrupted. I don't know what OS you are using but TweakUI for XP from Microsoft http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/powertoys/xppowertoys.mspx has the ability to repair icons
