I'd like some opinions

its a 7800GT SLI setup in 1 card... its not better than the 7900GTX

its a bit slower than 2 7800GTX's in SLI, and thats about equal to 1 7900GTX.
not to mention that that card is almost pushed to its limits.. while the 7900GTX can be overclocked more. also, this one consumes much more power than the 7900GTX. ( true... it comes with an own PSU.. but thats about all )
the only pro of this card is... if you own one,.. you can proudly say you have 1 out of the 2000 ever made of it.. but thats all

yes... its a bit over 2 7800GT's in SLI.. because its build as 1 card, instead of needing a Motherboard to combine them. ;)

Nope.. there is more to a grafic's card than only performance imo.. power usage and heat for example. also, the 7900GTX will perform equally in games,.. except that the 7900GTX can be overclocked a lot.. this one cant, because its running pretty hot already.

but yes, i agree its a nice card,.. and if it would have been out a bit earlyer,.. i would have had one, and wouldnt have bought 2 7800GTX's. just because even with all the heat is produces.. its still less than the 2 7800GTX's.

Anandtech has the 7800GT SLI beating the 7900GTX performance wise at all tests. To be honest, though, I don't think it's a good investment. It's an open box product, at a price that's encroaching on 7950GX2 territory, and that WILL beat the 7800GT SLI.

the thing is i'm trying to build a stable system. So i'm trying to go with a Asus mobo and an Asus video card. in the reviews, people said they had a lot of problems with the Asus 7900GTX video card.

a parfect stable system doesnt require all componenets from the same brand you know :)
Look at my system for example, i dont even have my 2 grafic's cards from the same brand, and it perfectly stable :)

first card i've seen like that! i'm telling you, fans on cards are just getting stranger and stranger...

It looks wierd because it has to cool 2 GPU's on one board.

I really don't like the idea of two that, and I also remember reading some VERY poor reviewson those cards (not the same brand) a while back on newegg.

If i have that money I would go with 7950GX2, because it can outperform two 7900GT in SLI

Like Archangel said, a stable system doesn't need parts from the same manufacturer.

I would suggest going for a X1950XTX, because then you can run Folding@home on it.
