IDE Controller?

Ive just noticed in the Device Manager, under the SCSI and RAID Controllers, there's a yellow circle with a '!' with the following words:

AI18JZYP IDE Controller

Clicking on it ssays that Windows cannot load the driver for the hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39)

What does that even mean? Why is it saying that?
 
I don't know who makes that but have you tried installing all the motherboard drivers that came on the CD? Since you have Windows installed and running it's secondary controller of some kind so if you aren't using it (aka everything is working but this driver is missing) you can probably leave it.
 
what's your hard drive configuration? it's for a raid/ide controller it looks like, probably one integrated into your motherboard. check ABIT's website for your motherboard drivers.
 
Well I have tried drivers from the CD but everytime I try to install it says there was an error trying to install them, but nothing seems to be wrong with the computer so I dont know.

And I only have one hard drive as primary (SATA) no RAID or anything but I'll check Abits' site
 
try to find drivers for your hdd. Some hard drives require drivers. thats what the ( ! ) primarily requires in the hardware window.

Ive already tried looking at the manufactuers site for HDD drivers but nothing.

This is weird, I decided to uninstall the device through the Device Manager last night and I just booted my computer up and there it is again only instead of it saying: AI18JZYP

its says: A2JRJETH
