Ideas for a blog

I'm looking for general ideas to get a blog up and running.
I have already setup my blog accordingly and everything is well so far (or so I think) but I need to capture more people's attention. I'm trying to keep things small and simple, nothing complex.

Keep it distributed on multiple topics. If you're wanting to draw lots of attention, keep posting about new products. Like when the iPhone came out, every blog with the word was not a dry blog.
