alright so i ordered a tuniq tower cpu cooler and this scythe fan controller over the holidays with some money i got but i didnt know that the power connector for the fan arent compatible with my mobo. my mobo has 4 pins and the connector has a 3 pin receiver. and with the fan controller it needs to have 4 pin connectors for the fans but my fans are molex connections. anyone have a solution for this or should i send them back and pay the extra few bucks to restock them? im kinda hesitant to send them back because i ordered them on the 19th and i got them today.

You just need to get a 4-pin to 3-pin adapter.

alright ill get 3-4 of those for my fan controller but what should i do for my tuniq tower problem?

I didn't quiet understand the problem witih the HSF. Is it that the Tuniq Tower fan uses a 3-pin connector and your motherboard uses the 4-pin PWM header? If that's the problem, just go right ahead and plug it in. It'll work perfectly fine, just without the PWM speed control (you can still use the voltage control option if you have it).

alright i got it working. i ordered the connectors for the scythe thing and for the tuniq tower i just moved the little plastic thing and it works. sorry for buggin ya but thanks alot for the help.
