IE 8 error messages

I am running XP pro SP 3 and am having difficulty with 2 areas of IE:

1) Unable to use web based email to contact companies that i need to deal with. (Easier than phoning some overseas call centre...). There is no email address to conatct them with just a "click here" on their webpage,
and

2: I often receive error messages when opening web pages such as the one below:

Any sugguestions ?
 
Do yourself a favor and stop using IE and download Firefox, Palemon (which is a better version of firefox) or chrome.
