IE Buffer Overun error (Closed Down IE)

Hi i was running a scanner that i used before ( Bitdeffender ) of there page as online scan and just before it was complete i got this error, this is the first time i have experianced this, any clues or fixes? Ie still loads after i got the error. It shut down the IE that was open and my scan proceadure.

What version of IE are you running? How about windows? Just guessing, I'm thinking you have Windows ME and IE 5.5... If this is correct, try upgrading to 6.0.
