iE help

I just got a Laptop with win 7. PRE. on it and I was useing the iE for the web.

I don't see any Tabs for Settings file or anything.
It just has the Adress Bar and Back and Forwods Tab

I ttryed to right click on the bar but it does not bring up anything like tools.

How do I open it?

I don't have the OS nor IE8 but it seems that you press the Alt button for a couple of seconds to temporarily bring up the Menu Bar then click View, Toolbars and check the Menu Bar and Command Bar.

You have to have your cursor in the right place which is under the address bar, then right click and the toolbar menus will appear, click Menu and any other toolbars you want displayed.
