iE help

I use iE as my browser and need help with one of the settings.

When I go to some websites and say you click on a pphoto to make it bigger it will open a new iE browser to show it and you have to maximize it then close it to get back to the page you had when you are doen.

How can I make it open up anything I click on in the same iE browser window that is there? So I can just click the back Tab to go back to the Thumbnails?

The best way to fix any problem with IE is to download firefox at www.firefox.com. You can import passwords and favorites, and all that.

What he said. I was running ie7 when it decided on its own to completely ignore my Zone Alarm settings. DL'd Firefox, no issues whatsoever. And nice private browsing.

Don't you have the zoom control on the Status Bar, bottom right of screen? You have to have Status Bar enabled in the View menu.

First, what version of Windows and IE are you running? If you're on XP, make sure you have IE8, which has tabs. If you're on Vista or 7, get the IE9 beta, which is a huge improvement over IE8 and should work much better for you.

Or, you could do like they suggested and switch browsers. Firefox, Chrome, and Opera are all good. (FF and Opera are my personal favorites)
