IE pop-ups mom's pc (hijackthis)

My mom's pc keeps getting pop-ups in IE about random stuff and about Virus scans. She has avast pro as I installed it for her. I believe IE or her pc might be infected. I ran a scan a while agon and everything came up clean. She refuses to use Firefox so I want to make sure IE is clean. I included a hijack log. Please look over it. Much help is appreciated. A fast response would be good as she Might be going to bed soon and the pc is in her room. Thanks so much.

Problem fixed I believe!! Had to uninstall/delete some IE toolbars that were crap!! Here's the new log if im missing something.

I wouldn't even bother cleaning it. I suggest you install on your mamma's PC Windows SP2 and IE 7.0.
Otherwise...the viruses will just keep on coming.
Clean the remnants:
Open your HijackThis and choose Do a system scan only.
Check these entries ( if present):
  • O2 - BHO: (no name) - {549B5CA7-4A86-11D7-A4DF-000874180BB3} - (no file)
  • O2 - BHO: (no name) - {6265A297-A555-485E-AF51-CEEB719AD208} - C:\WINDOWS\System32\d3dim70.dll
Now close all open windows except the HijackThis and click Fix checked.
Reboot.

Search and find d3dim70.dll and delete it when found.

How to update windows to SP2:
Go to Microsoft and update to SP2.
If that link doesn't work try this one.
http://www.update.microsoft.com

After doing so, set automatic updates ON.
 
Thanks!! I had to reformat the pc a while ago b/c it was infected pretty bad and since the reformat I havent had the time to install sp2 yet but I will do it for her. Thanks for the info and the help.
