IE version

Hi,
I have Internet explorer version 6.0 but when
I run McAfee virus scan It gives me error:

To download and install McAfee software, your computer must be running Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0 or later
The same message I receive when I run Norton Antivirus scan.
What’s the catch?

Are you running both mcafee and norton antivirus? If so that could be the problem.

No I tried only mcafee or norton antivirus.
I need any of them.

If you have both installed on your system, they will conflict with each other. Choose one to keep and delete the other.
