Hello, My mates got this problem with IE

Whenever he starts IE it loads up, but as soon as he clicks on anything like "Favourites" etc it comes up with the standard windows error window.

Saying

"IE needs to close blah blah blah please send error information to windows blah blah... Sent Error information .... Dont send"

This happens everytime?

Any ideas.
 
Would spyware and malware do that sorta thing? From my experience they usually hijack IE and other things, not stop it from workin.

But ill check that out.

Ill run adaware over it also, and if worse comes to worse uninstall then reinstall IE.
 
It may be spyware related but if it's IE 7.0 I completely understand it lol!
My IE keeps getting the same error when I open it (rarely now, often before ) and I could only re-open it if I kill it with Task manager and then open again. That's just an IE bug. Reinstalling won't happen.

If I was your friend, I'd pray for a Spyware! :D ;)

Oh no a bug lol. Any fixes yet? I havnt had the opportunity to go over there and have a look yet, but to me it sounds more like the bug than a spyware problem, as he has NOD running (I hate NOD lol)

Ill post the log thing when I get a chance.
 
IE is currupted. With that many other system files are also probably currupted. I would recomend reformating.
 
Are you kidding? Reformatting would be stupid because of IE. There are plenty of good browsers out ( well Mozilla and Opera should suffice).

Nod32 is the best antivirus today and it's not only antivirus, it's antispyware and it's simply the best.
But it's possible that some spyware/adware gets in through Nod's eyes, but it happened like once to me.
