Ie7

It runs on any machine which has Xp or Vista installed. So all your Xp machines will run it.

not strictly true, it does have system requirments, its just that most systems will reach those requirements

Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 1 (SP1)

Windows XP Service Pack 2 (SP2),
Windows XP Professional x64 Edition, and
Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 1 (SP1):
64 MB of RAM minimum
Full install size: 12 MB

Drive CD-ROM drive (if installation is done from a CD-ROM)

Basically, if your computer meets the requirements for Windows XP, it will also pass for Internet Explorer 7.

i've seen lesser machines running xp, very badly but i have seen them on very very low end machines, just pointing out it has requirements thats all :)

I am running IE7 and I am not impressed. It has a new look, a few new features, but in the end it is just that... AND the fact that it is beta shows it is not a finished product. I have noticed a few website dont load, some minor glitches in connection.. And few options which are COMPLETELY dumb.

Anyway, I would install on one PC, to find if you like it or not first.

they both meet the requirements too

i have been using ie7 for about 2 months now and been perfectly happy with it, much prefer it to some of the other browsers out there

i just prefer it, cant say what browsers are better because they each have their advantages, and we dont wanna start a which is better thread, could be here years.

i find the tabbed browsing really advantagous, makes things much easier, it is a feature that opera has had for a while but i never got on with opera

IE7(+) is a lot better on vista than it is on Xp. I reccomend keeping 6 on Xp, especially since 7 is still beta software. 7 supports tabs, anti-phising and more. It has its advantages, still without adequate CSS support.

my PC in the sig runs it... EASY... nothing demending about it... anything with XP or vista runs it... same with WMP11, u could run that to...

and i like it WAYYY better then IE6... but i still use mozilla... i would get it still tho..

and WMP11 if u are using 10
