I downloaded Internet Explorer and something is wrong with it. My homepage is set to Google and when I open Internet Explorer 7, it loads up, then one of those error messages come up saying Internet Explorer has a problem with the option to send the problem to Microsoft or something. The only way for it not to happen is if I don't move my mouse or touch my keyboard for about 5 seconds after IE is loaded. Any ideas?

My computer is fine. I did a virus check, spyware check, and I defragged.

The one thing you could try is disabling the new antiphishing filter now found in IE 7. This will hamper many sites while intended to alert and block sites that attempt to install trojans on your system. Sometimes that can a little over protective. Sites like Google and others often have adwares which can be another source of the problem with this new feature.

If you upgraded directly from IE 6 to 7 you may have to totally remove IE in the add/remove Windows components section of the add/remove programs found in the control panel. You do this after first downloading and saving the IE 7 setup file and try a totally fresh installation. A bad upgrade could be the reason for this.

I ran into a few headaches when first trying the beta release and had to remove everything completely to get IE 6 back on and running normally. Upon trying the final version I simply went through the same steps and have seen some great results except for now having a number of sites blocked on searches. That helps keep you from running smack into invalid sites there!
