ok.

i uninstalled some software that i recently installed, and now the blue bar says: 'iexplore.exe - Application Error' it used to say something about acrobat error or something.

but the rest of the box still says the same thing: The instruction at "0x37001328" referenced memory at "0x71ab428a". The memory could not be "written".

windows is updated all the way, and i downloaded some IE updates, but i still don't know what to do.

Looks like you have some bad memory (most likely), the easiest utility for you to use would be to download the Windows Memory Diagnostic here . Run the file, it will prompt you to create either a floppy or cd (your choice), then you just boot with it in you computer and it will check your memory and tell you if you if it's bad.

also try to use a program called:TUne Up utilies, which provide a correctness for ur PC, providing with integrity of data, and all the processes that run on ur PC. it has great features, I will try to send u by e-mail (since it is of large size to be uploaded on a free site),
take care
hope u will know more

Hello, Im new here (just today :) ) I was wondering if you had a link to that TUne Up utility still. I have the same problem and haven't been able to figure it out.

I have run the Windows Memory Diagnostic utility and it passed.

Windows is fully updated as well as IE updates and SP's.

You could simply stop using IE, firefox is a lot better, in my opinion and many others. You can transport all your bookmarks etc over to it and it will be just the same but without the errors.

Thanks guy, but that was already thought of. I'm addicted to firefox, it's all I use now.

It turned out to be a spyware issue. thx to M$' s Anti Spyware we were able to contain the problem and get rid of it.
