If HTML out ready yet why is then books and sites on it?

I`m hoping someone can enlighten me.I`m just wandering why there are html 5 books and websites about, if you can`t actually use it yet? I just read that it ain`t out till 2022, i`m just abit confused, as i got a book on html 5 programming and don`t see the point in doing it if it ain`t out yet.

Well it's still under development and isn't "final" yet, but most browsers do at least partially support the standard in its current form. Whatever changes are going to be made are not going to be significant enough to make all current books null and void.

oh k,so what your saying is, although it`s under development, some of/ most of the features are in use?
