No your right, its just the new version of wireless signal. You will need a N router and N receivers on all your wireless devices.
You don't have to change all older devices...N just works at it's best with N-device to N-device!!
Well I haven't bought anything adapters yet, so I was thinking of just buying a whole new router... one last question... if I have two routers hooked up in my house, would I have to pay for them both... or what? If I don't I might aswell just buy a new router for my room...
you only pay your ISP to have the internet, you can have as many router and computer as you want. it pointless having 2 routers unless you make one into an access point and you only need access points to give a wider wireless coverage, for a normal house small office there is no need
Well my router is in my basement, and my computer is going to be in my room (2nd floor). My house isn't that big, it's a fair size. My PSP get's about 75%-100% in my room so I'm pretty sure a decent wireless adapter could do the same... and suggestions? (Must be compatible with Vista).
