If I bought a new Wireless N router (I have a wireless G one at the moment), would I have to pay extra for internet, or could I just buy the router and everything would be converted to N? thanks for the help.

No you wont need to do anything to your internet, as far as i know "N" is taking over from "G", i think it faster and has better range. you may need to upgrade your wifi cards to wireless N for it work properly and at full speed.
Someone connect me if im wrong.

No your right, its just the new version of wireless signal. You will need a N router and N receivers on all your wireless devices.

With Wireless-N, the farther away you are, the more speed advantage you get. It works great with standard Wireless-G and -B equipment, but when both ends of the wireless link are Wireless-N, the router can increase the throughput even more by using twice as much radio band, yielding speeds far faster than standard Wireless-G. But unlike other speed-enhanced technologies, Wireless-N can dynamically enable this double-speed mode for Wireless-N devices, while still connecting to other wireless devices at their respective fastest speeds. In congested areas, the "good neighbor" mode ensures that the Router checks for other wireless devices in the area before gobbling up the radio band.

You don't have to change all older devices...N just works at it's best with N-device to N-device!!

Well I haven't bought anything adapters yet, so I was thinking of just buying a whole new router... one last question... if I have two routers hooked up in my house, would I have to pay for them both... or what? If I don't I might aswell just buy a new router for my room...

you only pay your ISP to have the internet, you can have as many router and computer as you want. it pointless having 2 routers unless you make one into an access point and you only need access points to give a wider wireless coverage, for a normal house small office there is no need

Well my router is in my basement, and my computer is going to be in my room (2nd floor). My house isn't that big, it's a fair size. My PSP get's about 75%-100% in my room so I'm pretty sure a decent wireless adapter could do the same... and suggestions? (Must be compatible with Vista :P).

Yeah they will be fine, and as everyone said before, you dont ever pay an ISP for more computers or extra routers. You could run 2 routers but....you might just want to get an access point if your worried about range. You could use another router, however that could cause all kinds of other problems.
