My computer makes really loud noise,
I want it to quite down some how,,,

Is it true if I down clock my cpu abit, the cpu quites down?

well, I have cpu fan, back fan, 2 side fans, front fan, and a fan for the hard drive...

is it too much?

Also the video card seems to be making a big noise... especially in the biggining

yea, it doesnt always depend on how many fans, but how fast they actually spin and how loud they are rated.
for instance, i have 2 92mm fans on my cpu, but i have an extra 92mm vantec tornado lying around which is probably louder than both of the fans im using combined and then multiplied by 2.
get what im sayin? lol you could try stopping each fan to figure out which is the culprit, and then replace it with a slower quieter fan
be careful though, i did this with the vantec tornado and i had to krazy glue a fin back on! make sure you dont break them!
EDIT: vantec tornadoes are known to be low, and extremely high rpm, this is probably why it broke as well. (tried stopping it with an allen wrench haha)
