Not sure why you seem to favor that 256bit graphics card.

Btw, I had that much money for my build and I built the
rig in my sig. Can be built much cheaper now.

Well the benchmarks for this card are pretty good that is why I guess???????
I would rather a GTX 275 from the benchmarks i saw at tomshardware and reviews but they both are equally good

Well what bomber built is pretty much what i would have built the things which wouldnt have been common were the things I posted above check those out

hey bomberboy. i thought the foxconn flaming flade GTI was not crossfire cause it was the gti version? or is it not sli?

It actually has more memory bandwidth than a GTX275 due to its use of very high clocked gddr5. I recommend it for amd builds because AMD chipsets support new processors for a further amount of time than a comporable nvidia chipset, eg- 570 sli vs 680g, even though the 680g mobo's were around $60, they support the newest phenom II cpu's even though the mobo is 2+ years old, while with a 570sli chipset you would be stuck with a phenom 9950 as the best upgrade. For intel its because the flamingblade gti supports only crossfire and not sli, and the 4890 outperforms a gtx275 in alot of places, and if you went dual gtx285 you wouldnt see nearly as much bang for the buck($200+ more for maybe 10% increase overall performance).

Its crossfire but not SLI.

From what I've seen the 4890 has a Memory bandwidth of 124.8GB/s and the GTX275 has a Memory bandwidth of 127GB/s but who cares they are both good cards :)

Lol, I was reading though that topic was laughing at everything :D (and yes I know I did it because it was a fight between you and Travis and i knew you were active on this thread xD)
