Im a noob tell me how to build a pc

I just got this today. I want a good gaming computer system. The only bad thing is i dont really know anything about a computer. SO give me so help. I have up too $1500 to spend.
 
Research. Read lots and lots before buying anything or attempting to build anything. Learning how to build a computer takes more than a weekend, and learning to troubleshoot problems and remedy errors takes years. Computer technology constantly changes, so once you master one thing, tomorrow it totally changes and you have to re-learn everything. But it's hella fun :D

Theres numerous websites. Read those then ask more specific questions. Just about every website I've seen is well over 10 pages so you cant just ask how do I build a computer.

You can build an awesome computer for $1500:D
 
Hey, building a computer is ALOT easier than it sounds, plus you get alot more satisfaction than just plugging a Dell power cable into the wall. Stick around here and you'll be ready in no time.

ive learn so much from this forum and the people here are really helpful. so if you've got a question dont be afraid to ask and dont forget to Search first;)
 
You could always buy a barebone system and add too it. That would be even easier on someone new to building computer.

If you decided that build a computer is not for you, the next best thing would be to have someone build a custom system for you or find one on ebay (see signature). This would be much better than buying a name brand (Dell, HP).
