Im getting mad!

Router: Qwest/Actiontech High speed modem M1000

Hi, I have tryed EVERYTHING! I mean everything! I tryed to forward everysingle port there is for steam: Garrysmod, Counter Strike Source. I have forwarded so many ports. None work. My server is always not on the list and not responding. I have to use hamachi with my friends to play! I want it to be public! I tryed pressing sv_lan 0 still nothing. I tryed forwarding the ports that garrysmod or css uses, And it didnt work! I do not no what to do anymore! I am going CRAZY! That is why my only soulution is to go here. I tryed the steam forum, Garrysmod forum. This is my only last solution! So does anyone have an idea why it was not working? I tryed qwest tutorials and everything. I have the new M1000 Router for actiontech or as it is called by the company Qwest High Speed Modem. Well I dont no what it is. It is like a router or modem or something. But I go into the browser and type "192.168.0.1" Then I got to advance settings. Then I go to portforwarding. Then I enter the ports and nothing WORKS! Here is my router or modem or whatever!

I dont no what to do? Any suggestions? Undecided
 
Your forwarding in the wrong place.... the top box is where you forward ports. Where it says "ENTER PORT IP RANGE", just unckeck and remove everything from the bottom box.

I do not put that there. Every time I erase that and go on top of it and forward my port it says: "Invalid remote port number!". It automatically put's that there.
 
Have you assigned a static IP to your computer? In every cause of router port forwarding you need to specify which computer it's going too. I do see that any IP is the default choice but the router can't sent the same traffic to all computers. Plus double check that the traffic is TCP and not UDP. Online games often use UDP instead of TCP to help prevent log issues.

You need to not be forwarding all those ports, just forward the ports you need, and not to all ip's, just that of your computer.

I rather not lol. I already got it figured out, Btw I do not trust this poster lol. He only has 1 post!
