I'm not the best with the budgets

Can anyone come up with a computer for around 500-550$? I'm building for a friend... it's for just miscellaneous use with photos, videos, and light gaming. I'm thinking 320GB HDD to 500GB and an AMD chip.
 
I would drop AMD, and get either a G6950/i3 - Cheap, fast, Overclockable, and with built in HD graphics (Fine for light gaming). For the RAM...

You don't need a dedicated GPU (I assume) , as for the Mobo get a cheap H55 Board that supports DDR3 - $60
Decent quality PSU, I'm sure you know the brands... Choose your own case and get maybe a 500GB HDD - $40. Add in a cheap-as-chips DVD writer and your good to go, choosing the rest of the parts case,cooling. etc. Yourself:D
 
Ah, I forgot about H55. Yes, it needs an OS, he prefers Win7... no graphics card needed, I've heard good things about H55 onboard.
