im puzzled

I took apart my computer today, essentially just for fun but I also figured Id clean out 2 years worth of dust. Anyways I dismantled almost everything and put it all back together but now when I turn on the computer windows xp takes about 3 times longer to boot and when it odes the computer is noticeably slower (nothing terrible but definitely slower). I've gone back over everything and made sure it was put back correctly but nothing makes a difference. Does anyone have any ideas what could have gone wrong???

Dell 1.7GHz Pentium 4
768Mb RAM
128Mb ATI Radeon 9000

did you put all the RAM back in?

I have installed all of the RAM back into the computer and it is registering that iI have 768mb of RAM so it must be installed correctly.
