I've had this PC (see sig - first one) for a very long time now, and im tired of it lagging and croaking and not really being able to play any game that was brought out past 2006.
Ill use it for (in order of 'priority') - student work (e.g Word, a little Excel), browsing, gaming, listening to music, watching DVDs, coding, and rubiks cube timing
D).
If i can, I'd like to keep the case, and PSU (a very recently bought StealthXStream), and as my budget is not particularly high (between £250 and £350 absolute max) i probably wont be getting any high drain parts anyway...
As im in the UK, MIRs do not apply!

which is a Palit 9800GT, Intel e8400, Asrock P43 mobo, 2gb Geil Black Dragon 800mhz, and 360Gb Seagate for those that dont like links
this comes to around £315 not including shipping (which will probably come to about £20)
later ill probably add 2Gb RAM, a soundcard and possibly a bit more storage.
oh, & from a friend i am (completely legitimately!) getting a copy of 32-bit Vista Business free...
