I am trying to install MAC OS 10.2.1 on my imac tower. I bought a new hard drive and I cant get the OS to install. I know that this imac supports this OS because i had it installed on the old hard drive.
what happens is when it reboots for the first time after installation, It starts up with the Apple and the spinning thing, then the screen just stays there and it freezes. Cant get it to do any thing else. Every now and then i am able to finch setup and get it to the welcome screen where you input your name and address. When i enter in my info and click finch, the welcome screen restarts it self and i have to re-enter my info. How come i cant complete setup and get it to boot up normally? Post your thought and comments. Thanks in advance!
