Image File On dvd not playing on Windows Media Player

Using Imgburn, I downloaded some pics onto a DVD, I made about 5 up for a friend who bought some off me, I told him they would play as a slideshow on a stand alone dvd or on windows media player as a slideshow, I told him this becuase I while ago it workd fine...but I just tested a few out, and when I put the dvd in my pc drive it doesnt give me the option to play on windows media player, please advise me how I can re-format or something, I dont feel like telling him it doesnt work now....

had similar problems in the past.
Suggestions only:
blow out light across the laser head and burn again.
Slower speed burn.
Maybe a different color dye, some laser heads are more sensitive than others.
just a suggestion.
