Image of a CD

Hi,

Does anyone how to create an image of a cd w/o inserting it in the cd driver each time i want to play it. Like that i would not probably overuse my CD/DVD player & harddrive. CHeers.

Hey

There are ways, but I am not entirely sure if it is legal where you are from and therefore I would not like it being discussed here. Thank you for your understanding.

You can get a virtual drive, and mount the image when you want to play. It makes your pc thing the image file is a cd.
