I'm not quite sure how to read this, can anyone help? I'm looking at those scores and some are in the 5's. Any advice on how to improve my PC would be helpful.

The system score is the overall score which it takes the lowest number of all and thats your score. The lowest is your HDD which is no big deal. Are you having any issues right now?

If you aren't having any issues right now, then there is no need to improve. Hardware is always changing. What you get today will be outdated tomorrow. Just wait until you really need to update/upgrade then buy.

I would only recommend upgrading your RAM, but the options are fairly limited for your motherboard, the best you can do is an 8GB kit at ddr3 1333 for about 60 to 70 dollars. At least while retaining the economic side of things.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820313123

The reason being is that most of your ram is used to communicate with the graphics card. Memory upgrades are the most economic why to upgrade a slow PC thats held back by hardware.

Also note this, pretty much no matter what you do, standard disk drives will always land a WEI score of 5.9. WEI is not a reliable way of bench-marking your PC. It just gives an overview of how smoothly windows will run with your computer.

Welcome to the forum, but try and use better grammar. We are grammar-nazis here :)
The motherboards and CPU you suggested aren't compatible either. And you want him to replace his 1TB/7200RPM/32MB HDD with a 1TB/7200RPM/64MB HDD? :D

OP has an i5-2400, 4GB DDR3 RAM and a GT630. Considering OP is using Game Booster to diagnose his needs, I would wager he's a gamer. Anyone here can see what he needs to upgrade.
I would suggest the MSI GTX 750 Ti, because it's not using any additional power - only from the PCIe slot. Couldn't find any info on his PSU, but I could see that he games in 1080p. The 750 Ti is cheap, cool, quiet and decently fast at 1080p - and it uses about the same power as the GT 630.

lol...

So what you suggest is a whole new system. I don't think that's the answer the OP is looking for. It's not the right answer anyway.

@Lozrrr: As mentioned earlier, you only need to upgrade if you feel there is a need. If your system feels good enough, then don't spend the money.

I agree with whoever said about the RAM. 4GB should be OK for most things, but I'd maybe look at upgrading to 8GB (if you can add another 4GB stick or 2x2GB sticks). Again, only upgrade it if you feel you need to though.

The Windows Experience Index (the 'benchmark' which rated your system at 5.9) is worthless. Whilst it is true that your hard disk is likely the limiting factor, it's not essential that you go out and replace it right away (especially since all HDDs can only score a maximum of 5.9 in the WEI in Windows 7 at least). I suppose if you want your PC to feel as 'snappy' as possible you could get an SSD and install Windows on that. But again, why bother if you feel your PC is already running fine?

Hopefully you're seeing what we're getting at.
