How can improve my laptops cooling? I did the everest home edition tests an it says my processor is running at 75 degrees! Apart from a cooler pad, is there any fan upgrades ect?

Have you tried cleaning it? by blowing compressed air into the intake vents, depending on the age or the environment they're could be a build up of dust which reduces the effectiveness of the heatsinks and coolings fans over time.

would putting arctic silver thermal compound on the procerssor help?
yes that would help. try cleaning out your fans as well.

what processor do you have? try a different program like speedfan. i doubt its really running that hot.

I know it is sort of a redneck way of fixing it, but i could not see buying a laptop cooling pad with fans when the fans did not even match up to my laptops fans very well. In the end i got 4 bottle caps (Coke or water plastic caps) and put them under the feet of the laptop. It is amazing how much better air flow it gets and cooler it stays. This only works well when you are not moving your laptop multiple times every day because you have to set them up each time.

yeah if ure laptop is raised above the ground and the fans are on the bottom it will help alot with the air flow
