As you know, I am going to LA for the state science fair, but I need a safe way to transport my computer around. I looked at pelican cases, but they are really expensive. ($75-$100) for one that would fit my computer. It has to be able to fit into the luggage rack thingy on a plane. Any suggestions? I have a mid-sized tower that's about 17 inches tall, like 2 feet long, and about 6 inches long...

try using the box it came in, or another one about the right size, and get some packing penuts from a mooving store, puts some in the bottom, set the computer on them and away from all sides, then surround it with more penuts, fill it to the top, then tape it shut
