For my monitor... do I need to buy any special cables or anything cause I want the picture to be stunning. It says it is HDMI but I honestly have no idea what that means.

HDMI means High Definition Multimedia Interface. Are you saying the monitor allows for HDMI? If so you'll need HDMI cables, which resembles a USB wire. You can find HDMI cables in most computer stores or check out the cables here at NewEgg. You really don't need anything too fancy.
