in computer class and were starting to get into html's and web design

hi everyone. as stated above, my computer class is starting to get into html and web design. i would like to know a site that shows you beggining/intermediate or w/e level i guess of html codes, such as bolding, adding a background picture from your computer.. etc

hate to sound so unhelpful, but google web design, html help or turorials or howtos. it will bring up about 6.022x10^23 sites.

And if you have access to a library, pick up web design for dummies, html for dummies, and dreamweaver for dummies.

www.w3schools.com has tutorials and code examples for everything web. Some of them can get indepth but for the most part they are fairly straight forward.
