In desperate need of help

Hi
I have a IBm Netvista 733mhz, 256 ram, running windows xp pro.
I have just tried to install windows xp pro, but while formatting the hard drive the power was disconnected by accident, Now when I try and install windows again nothing on my pc works, the monitor light is flashing and there is a light on on the hard drive also the cd drive is working as I can hear it working.
I have tried different memory and another power supply also different hard drives.
Can anyone suggest anything that I can try next,

Slightly confused .... to "install windows again" you need to have a working machine ... unless you mean that you meant to install windows again but seemingly cant

You've tried different (and I assume working) power supply and ram so that clears out two major components. Assuming that the monitor works (and isnt just blinking forever), looks like the mobo is toasted.
