What that means is that one or more video drivers didn't go in fully when the software/drivers were initially installed. To correct that you have two routes where one is to right click on the yellowed device listing and choose the update driver option to have Windows try and take the drivers in. The other often needed method is to completely remove all software and video drivers, usually with a remover provided by the manufacturer, and allow Windows to perform a fresh detection of the hardware upon a restart of the system. When prompted for the driver disk you insert the installation disk and browse to the driver folder or go to the previously unzipped folder where an update was downloaded to and have Windows grab the drivers there.
Your game may or not be running due to a video driver issue. That depends on the game design and it's requirements. If something damaged or wiped a game file you would have to reinstall the game itself in order to get it running.
