mac lion, windows 10, and leopard mac cuz of this acceleration error. please help!

If you don't install more RAM, your swap will be higher than if you installed more RAM.

Unfortunately, you can't add ram to that machine. You will need a new machine. That machine is only designed for email and web surfing, no virtual machine usage.

Okay! thanks for the info! do you have any ideas about what affordable pc i should get?(with like 10 GB of Ram) i am about to call the Kim Komando show and ask, but if i cant, you would be helpful!

Look on newegg, microcenter websites. Not sure of your budget. Are you limiting yourself to a laptop or would you go with a desktop pc?

$250 isn't going to give you much. Even looking at refurbished will be around $300 or more.

You aren't going to find a laptop for $250 that has a lot of RAM and is actually a decent machine, and 10GB is a very odd number. Also, a laptop is a computer, so if you can't have a computer in your room then you can't have a laptop.

okay, but you dont get it, i CAN have a computer on the front room couch, but not in my BEDROOM. and, i guess i will be saving up for a while if i cant get a computer for less than 250-300. so, thanks for the help, and if you could help me find a good laptop maybe like $500 or less? i would appreciate it.(hope i spelled that right)
