haha, yeh update them all. they have all been tested by microsoft people for ages, the blue screen was an anomly.

There really is no reason to worry and I highly recommend that you go ahead and update as it truely is wiser to have done so then not :).

Yes, go ahead and install service pack 2, and then any needed updates remaining. They are there for a reason, which is mostly security holes that MS has found that need patching. None the less, they would not put them out there if you did not need them.

I agree with everyone above, SP2 and all the needed updates should not bring any trouble. Word to the wise, I had an old compaq armada Laptop, it has a bad power supply, and had to stay plugged in at all times. I was installing SP2 on it for my girlfriend to use and the cord was giggled and the laptop restarted. After trying to reboot several times, the conclusion was during the install it was coping some critical files, and now it will not even boot, need to wipe it clean, but I am waiting for my new disc to come in. Just make sure you alway install updates, uninterupted.
