In your personal opinion, which type of computer is faster and why?

Anyways just off this info, which would you say is faster more or less?
Both computer are Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit

wow...both deathtraps, id not be worried about speed, id worry about them just dying, avoid HP and Gateway...go with something like ASUS or Toshiba...maybe even a sony if you have the dough

It's close IMO. I would probably get the one with an i3 550, since I try to avoid OEM computers with AMD processors.

I always go for Intel.

I like AMD the most, so I say the HP.

but yea, clock per clock. the intel will win, it just is the better chip
