This is probably one of the few times I'll come to the forums for help rather than rendering it myself. My motherboard is a Shuttle MN31/N. Recently I decided I needed to replace my dated 1.2Ghz Duron. I chose a mobile Athlon 2600+ because it is the fastest CPU that isn't a power hog and keeping power consumption and heat production to a minimum in my suitcase is a must. I can actually get the CPU to boot. The problem is my motherboard Autodetects it as a 600mhz CPU. By Adjusting the FSB speed I can change it to 800mhz or 1002mhz but no higher. There doesn't seem to be any way to adjust my clock multipier. On a side note it also causes Windows to lock up at boot but I imaging that it will have to be reloaded to clear that up. I submitted a support request from shuttle. Lets see who can give me the correct answer first
