i heard somewhere that you can increase your hard drives rpm.
i was wondering if it is feasibly, or even practical? because i was considering buying an extra 74gb raptor, but if i can get an edge with my current hdds that would be great!
anyone have any knowledge on the subject?
also, interface overclocking? i have sata2 ports and sata150hdds...
theyre seagate barracudas 7200.7 and 7200.8 models (120+250gb)

rpm or interface overclockiiiinggg!

No, you can't...
actually you can, just open up the hard drive and install a faster motor :P, but then the hard drive would be useless.

For real though, you cant increase its rpm's unless you physically tweak the motor or something inside. And by openeing it up you permanently damage it by getting dust inside.

ok thanx lol... i duno my friend mentioned something about how it could be done, if i find any weird stuff ill let u kno! lol
